I got a KLX140L 3 years ago which has a 34 inch seat height, at the time I was 5'3" and fit perfectly on it, I outgrew that bike and found a 2003 CRF450R for a really good price which has a 37.7 inch seat height and it looks perfect. Can I fit on this bike with out tipping over or having trouble? If so, how fast can it go stock?

I think so. It will take awhile to get used to. I'm 5' 10'' 155 I rode a kx500 for awhile and let me say if you aren't comfortable on the bike after a few rides get something smaller before you almost kill yourself like I did!

You can adjust the suspension and maybe shave some off the seat to make it lower but I think at 5' 6'' you shouldn't have problems with it tipping.

Top speed stock around 65 mph

Don't ask us if you will fit on it; sit on the thing - it won't hurt you!! Your making a big jump in bike and honestly I would go for a 250 before stepping up to a 450. When you can 'ring the neck' on a 250 then you might handle a 450. Go that way and you will be a better and more skilled rider.

If you're REALLY into bikes then you would manage. Otherwise - height will always be an issue.
