What is the best 85cc dirt bike overall?

There is no best motocross bike anymore in any class. They have all progressed so far that they are pretty much even. It's really just a matter of opinion. You can win or lose on any of them. They do have different characteristics but that only makes one a little different, not better. In Dirt Riders 2010 shootout, which did not include the KTM for whatever reason, the Suzuki won and the Kawasaki and Yamaha tied. You may want to read this shootout just to get more in depth details on how the 3 bikes differ. Of course Honda no longer makes an 85. But remember, just because the Suzuki won doesn't really mean it's better. It just means the majority of these test riders prefered it. A different group of riders may have picked a different bike.

A YZ85 has the most powerband for sure compared to all the other brands like Kawasaki and KTM. They also have six gears instead of five which adds to the dynamic of the bike and it's capabilitys. Mine gets up to 65mph which is enought to keep up with some four stroke 250's.

Do us all a favor and buy a 4 stroke. The Crf150r is the same size as the 85s, just a 4 stroke. 4 Strokes are modern day and everybody is tired of hearing the noisy *** 2 strokes bog around the track as the 4 strokes lap them..

KTM, theyr a little harder to take care of but they are faster and better on the track, theyr the only one thats not made in japan so differ from all the others and for the most part are better

kawasaki kx 85 is the best fastest and overall great bike i remember mine it has a great warenty 2 yamaha comes n second but basically choose ur favorite color cus now all the bikes are the same

Go with the Crf150r! It is the same size and same class as 85s but its 4 stroke and it hauls way faster!
