which is a better dirtbike a crf150r or a klx 140?

dude i am you brother i am the same age and size and i went through the same decision , bro go with the honda crf150R you wont be dissapointed the kawasakis klx 140 is to small and has no key. honda has two models of crf150 the 150r and the 150f. the 150r is an all out race bike and the 150f is a trail bike .also the klx is brand new so it may not be as reliable as the honda. the honda is the better choice trus me.

You most certainly are big enough for the 250F's Auburn mentioned. My nephew is 13 years old, 5'5" and he smokes on a CRF250R. As to the original question, those bikes aren't even in the same class. The KLX140 is a trial/play bike and the CRF150R is a race bike. The KLX140 is comparable to the CRF150F, not the CRF150R.

A crf150r... My neighbor has a klx140 and they are small and very slow.... A klx140 is a family bike, so it is not built to go fast, jump or race. A crf150r is a race bike, so it is built to go fast and jump and handle alot better...but for your size a crf150 would almost be too small for you, even though it is bigger than the klx140....so you may consider a 250...but it also depended on what kind of riding you want to do...

You are too big for either of them. What do you want to use the bike for as if you want to race then look at a crf250r or if you are interested in trails look at these TTR250, WR250, XR250 or perhaps the crf250x
