The main jet, or the access bolt on the float bowl? The main jet is hollow, so a easy out could just be stuck in and remove the jet. Unfortunately cast carbs are kinda fragile you may have boogered up the threads badly. Anyway tap with the correct tap. Also when doing this in the future put things like this in finger tight, you cant ruin and cross threads like that. The access cover is rather hollow as well, drill and easy out. If too tore up at least a replacement float bowl can be ordered.

Go purchase a set of easy outs to try and remove it or take it to an engineer or an autoshop. Just make sure you don't wreck the thread. Next time don't tighten it so much as they don't have to be so tight as the carby has rubber mounts each side so it doesn't vibrate.

Hats off to Auburn ! Using easy outs is a GREAT answer. Make sure you use the proper size drill.
